Best Practices for Devices

An essential component to your cloud phone system are your devices; you cannot receive calls without any devices on your system. Before building out all the components of your system, it’s important to add at least one device.  

Note: Tresta prompts you to add a device when initially setting up an account or when a new user logs in for the first time.  

Here are a couple best practices to keep in mind when adding, managing or removing devices.

Connect the mobile devices where you want calls delivered.

Whether you want to receive your calls from a singular device or you want Tresta to ring you on more than one device, you can add your favorite mobile devices to your Tresta account.

Clearly name each device.

When adding a device to the system via the Devices page, it’s a good idea to give it a name at that time. We recommend naming it something that is easy to understand, like Darren’s Cell Phone or Molly’s Tablet.
