The Voicemail feature works just like call recording within Tresta: system administrators have the ability to grant individual users or user groups access to any voicemail box in the system. This article covers how to add or delete subscribers to any voicemail inbox for your Tresta users, user groups or standalone voicemail.
If you want to learn a little more about voicemail before permitting access to messages, please read this article.
Note: The information below assumes that you have more than one user and one standalone voicemail box on your system.
Adding Subscribers to a Voicemail Box
If you’re a system administrator, log into the Tresta web app and click on the Settings button.
Click on the Voicemail Boxes tab within the System Components. At the top of the page, you can filter your inboxes by Users, User Groups, Standalone and All. This makes it easy to quickly locate the exact voicemail inbox you need.
Next, select the phone number from which you want other users or user groups to receive voicemail messages, and click the Edit icon.
Once you’re on the Edit Voicemail Box page, scroll down to the Subscribers section. Click on the +Add Subscriber link; this populates a new dropdown with all of the users and user groups available. Select who you’d like to add. After adding any users and user groups, click the Save button in the top right corner of the page.
Deleting Subscribers from a Voicemail Box
Once again, make your way to the Voicemail Boxes tab within your System Components. When you’re on the Voicemail Boxes page, select the inbox from which you want to delete subscribers and click the Edit icon.
When you’re on the Edit Voicemail Box page, scroll down to the Subscribers section. Click on the Delete icon; this instantly removes a subscriber. After removing users and user groups as needed, click the Save button in the top right corner of the page.
