Understanding how calls and texts route to you and the level of system access you have.

To understand how calls and texts are routing to you, you’ll need to sign in to the web app.

  1. Click System

Note – if you are not a member of the System Admins group, you will not see this option.

  1. Select Phone Numbers from the sidebar options on the left.
  2. Below the phone number are tabs showing Inbound Calls, Outbound Calls, Call Recording, and Messages. This offers a quick view of how your calls are routing and who has calling and messaging permissions on this number.

To change any of these preferences, select the edit icon on the phone number you want to modify. For more on this topic, please review Managing phone numbers.

To understand your level of system access, you’ll need to sign in to the web app.

  1. Open the avatar menu and select Your Settings.
  2. Select Groups from the sidebar option on the left.

The level of system access is determined by which group(s) the user is in:

All Users: Members can only make changes to their own user profile.

Billing Admins: Members are able to view billing invoices, modify the payment method on file and cancel service.

System Admins: Members can make system configuration changes that affects how your business phone system works.
