Turning off the “press 1 to accept” prompt on incoming calls.

When a call is routed to you and you answer, Tresta will prompt you to press 1 to accept the call; this is to prevent a non-human answer, like your cell phone voicemail, from interrupting the desired call flow.

  • To answer the call, press 1.
  • To decline the call, simply hang up.

To turn this feature off, you’ll need to sign in to the web app, where you can edit the phone number routing that is applying the prompt.

  1. Click System

Note – if you are not a member of the System Admins group, you will not see this option.

  1. The “press 1 to accept” prompt can be used as part of any inbound call flow, so it could be applied in the settings of
    • Phone Number
    • Auto Attendant
    • Schedule

Click the Edit icon on the object that is routing calls to you.

  1. Locate where in the call flow the press 1 option is being applied and turn it off.
